Scottish Meat Pie Shells
The meat pie is a favorite of tens of thousands daily. The free standing pastry shell is the unique feature that separates the “real” meat pie from those in tins or pastry efforts shaped around a jar.
Now you can have authentic shells and lids to fill with your own recipe. Our free-standing shell is the same as found in Scotland.
We ship with dry ice and/or gel packs in a re-usable cooler to deliver a refrigerated product to your door. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to allow arrival before the weekend. We recommend that you store your shells in a freezer until ready to use.
In our professional kitchen, we turn out a custom product of quality ingredients on a made to order basis in small batch quantities. We do not have the precision of an assembly line and a shell will show an occasional flaw. From time to time, we may use a thrifty patch to avoid waste and preserve function while maintaining the true appearance of the free standing pie shell you know to be the real thing.

The shells arrived in excellent condition and were absolutely wonderful. They baked up beautifully. The pastry is far superior to any that I have, so far, been able to make from my recipes. They were able to withstand an overly generous amount of filling without bulging at the sides or the lid pulling apart from the shell.
